Yuriy V. BOYKO

Was born on June 22,1953 in Odessa , Ukraine , in family of military officer.

In 1970 was graduated from the school No. 16 in Odessa and entered Kiev High Military Aviation Engineering College (KVVAIU). In 1975 was graduated with honours from KVVAIU (diploma of military radio engineer).

In 1977 has entered post - graduate study of KVVAIU. In 1981 has defended thesis on Candidate of Science (Engineering) degree.

Military service as a lecturer in KVVAIU, in Tambov VVAIU ( Russia ), in the group of Soviet military experts in Iraq (1986 – 1989).

Scientific researches in 1981 - 1992, author of more than 30 scientific articles and research works.

In 1992 was retired from Ukrainian Army (rank of lieutenant - colonel) and started private business in company Petra Kiev Ltd. Since 1992 - in top management of company LEATER. LEATER is taking leading position at Ukrainian market of professional Audio – Visual Systems since 1994. Since 2003 – President of LEATER.

Speak Ukrainian, Russian, English.

Member of Communist Party of USSR during 1974 – 1991. Since 1991 till to March 2004 was indifferent to politics.

Married.

Hobby: fishing, hunting, reading, horce racing.

Sport: athletics, football, mountain tourism, tennis – in past, golf – now.
